By accessing or using the Fiji Airports Limited (“Fiji Airports”, “we”, “us”, “our”) Wi‑Fi service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Scope of Service
Fiji Airports provides public and paid Wi‑Fi services as a convenience to passengers, visitors, and authorised users within airport premises. The service is provided on an “as‑is” and “as‑available” basis and may be modified, suspended, or withdrawn at any time without prior notice.
2. Free Wi‑Fi and Advertising
Users who select Free Wi‑Fi acknowledge and agree that:
- Advertising content will be displayed before internet access is granted.
- Advertisements may include images, video, or promotional content.
- A mandatory viewing period (e.g. 15 seconds) may apply before access is enabled.
- Advertisement impressions, views, and interactions may be recorded for reporting and analytics purposes.
Users who do not wish to view advertising content may choose a Paid Wi‑Fi plan.
3. Paid Wi‑Fi Services
Users selecting Paid Wi‑Fi plans acknowledge that:
- Payment is required before access is granted.
- Plan details, duration, and charges are displayed prior to payment.
- Paid Wi‑Fi purchases are non‑refundable, except where required by law.
4. Payment Processing (Credit / Debit Cards)
- All card payments are processed securely via ANZ eGate (Mastercard Payment Gateway Services – MPGS).
- Fiji Airports does not collect, store, process, or log any credit or debit card information, including card numbers (PAN), expiry dates, or CVV details.
- All card data is entered directly on ANZ‑hosted secure payment pages.
- Fiji Airports is not responsible for payment failures, issuer declines, or gateway outages.
5. Personal Information and Privacy
To operate the Wi‑Fi service, Fiji Airports may collect limited personal information, including:
- Username
- Email address
- Mobile phone number
- Login method (manual or third‑party authentication)
- Session and usage information
This information is used solely for:
- Authentication and access management
- Service delivery and support
- Billing and transaction confirmation (for paid services)
- Security monitoring and operational reporting
6. Data Retention and Deletion
- Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary to provide Wi‑Fi services, meet operational requirements, and comply with legal, regulatory, or audit obligations.
- Session and usage data is automatically purged in accordance with Fiji Airports’ internal data‑retention policies.
- Personal information is not retained indefinitely and is securely deleted when no longer required.
- Users may request deletion of their Wi‑Fi account and associated personal data, subject to applicable legal or regulatory retention requirements.
- Secure access controls and deletion practices are applied throughout the data lifecycle.
Fiji Airports’ data‑handling practices are aligned with internationally recognised privacy and data‑protection principles, including data minimisation and purpose limitation.
7. User Consent for Advertising and Analytics
By using the Fiji Airports Wi‑Fi service, users expressly consent to:
- The display of advertising content as part of Free Wi‑Fi access.
- The collection of limited advertising‑related data such as impressions, views, and clicks.
- The use of aggregated and anonymised analytics for reporting and service improvement.
Advertising data does not include payment details or sensitive personal information.
8. Acceptable Use
Users agree not to use the Wi‑Fi service for unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, or malicious activities, including attempts to compromise network security or interfere with service availability.
Fiji Airports reserves the right to restrict or terminate access where misuse is detected.
9. Limitation of Liability
Fiji Airports is not liable for:
- Loss of data or service interruptions
- Device damage arising from use of public Wi‑Fi
- Third‑party websites, advertisements, or payment providers
Use of the Wi‑Fi service is at the user’s own risk.
10. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Fiji.
